Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Officially Announce a Baby on the Way
Serena Williams slyly revealed her pregnancy in a Snapchat last week of her bump at 20 weeks. Today, she made the official official announcement on Instagram with a sweet message to her baby. "You gave me strength I didn't know I had. You taught me the true meaning of serenity and peace. I can't wait to meet you," she wrote, "I am so happy to share being number one in the world with you today." Reminder: she won the Australian Open while pregnant.
Her fiancé, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian also posted an announcement on Instagram. Just like his engagement announcement with illustrated versions of himself and Serena in Snoo-form (Snoo is the Reddit mascot), he wrote "A new Snoo is on the way!"
"My number one, @serenawilliams, is pregnant (she announced officially earlier today) and I'm so excited to meet the little one," he captioned the illustration.
