Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin may be headed to injured reserve, NFL Network reported Sunday.
According to the report, Harvin is doubtful to play for the rest of the season because of hip soreness that has not shown improvement.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said last week that Harvin could be placed on IR. The team faces a roster decision for the playoffs.
Even if the Seahawks decide not to place Harvin on IR, he will likely not play in the postseason.
The Seahawks traded for Harvin in the offseason but he played just one game this season. He made one reception for 17 yards against his former Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 17. He has not played since because of a setback in recovering from offseason hip surgery.
