Zach Miller, the Seattle Seahawks starting tight end, was taken off the Physically Unable to Perform list on Friday, coach Pete Carroll said, according to the Seattle Times.
Carroll said Miller will begin practicing next week.
Miller is recovering from a torn plantar fascia he suffered during last season's playoffs.
It is not clear whether Miller will be ready to play in next Friday's preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
Miller had 38 receptions for 396 yards and three touchdowns last season.
