Seahawks CB Browner denies he faces suspension

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner denied an NFL Network report that he faces an eight-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

On Monday, NFL Network's Michael Silver reported that Browner faces another suspension based on PED use. He was suspended the final four games of the 2012 regular season for a PED violation, and a second suspension would require him to sit out eight games.

However, Browner responded on Twitter by writing, "I'm not facing suspension for PEDs, it's sad that the NFL is reporting this."

Browner is sidelined with a groin injury and is not scheduled to play this week anyway.

Seahawks defensive back Walter Thurmond is expected to miss the final four games of the regular season for a suspension for a violation of the substance-abuse policy.
