Sometimes college football spring games are snooze-fests built on making the offense look good. That doesn't appear to be the case with Louisville's game coming up Saturday at 1 p.m.

While UofL can't guarantee a competitive game, the team split that was announced Thursday seems to point to a very competitive match-up.
Of course, the Red Team is going to have the advantage of Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Lamar Jackson, but the White Team seems to have many of Louisville's top defenders - guys like pass-rusher James Hearns, defensive tackle De'Asian Richardson and linebacker Stacy Thomas. The White Team also has some of the top offensive linemen including current 1st teamers Lukayus McNeil, Nate Scheler and Kenny Thomas.
In addition to Jackson, the Red Team also has likely starters like CBs Jaire Alexander and Cornelius Sturghill, DLs Chris Williams and Drew Bailey and S Chucky Williams.
The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, with events starting several hours prior to kickoff.
