New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and receiver Santonio Holmes didn't exactly finish 2011 on a strong note.
There were plenty of reports chronicling the sniping and griping at each other and the general discord inside the Jets locker room. But Sanchez and Holmes have apparently patched their relationship up to the point where they are spending this week working out together in Orlando, Fla., according to the Newark Star-Ledger.
The Jets off-season program doesn't begin until next week, but Sanchez and Holmes are working under the supervision of trainer Tom Shaw along with Jets teammates Dustin Keller and Patrick Turner. Tennessee Titans star running back Chris Johnson has also been working out with the group.
"I know for a fact Santonio Holmes and Mark Sanchez are close," Shaw said.
