New Orleans Saints left cornerback Jabari Greer suffered a left knee injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers at Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Greer was taken to the locker room on a cart after medical personnel immobilized his left leg with an air cast.
Greer, 31, is in his fifth season with the Saints and 10th in the NFL. He has played in 133 games with 13 interceptions and 93 passes defended.
He spent the first five years of his career with the Buffalo Bills.
