Update: Broyles tore his right ACL during Sunday's loss to Indianapolis and is out for the year, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Recommendation: This marks his second ACL tear in two seasons, as he did so on November 5, 2011 while at Oklahoma. We should note that the previous tear was on his left knee, so a lengthy rehab process is likely to take place once again. Since he did not receive his first target until Week 7 this season, we would expect a similar forecast for a return in 2013. Meanwhile, with Titus Young (coach's decision) inactive this week and perhaps going forward, Mike Thomas is next in line for targets in the Lions' passing attack.
