ORLANDO, Fla. -- Carson Coffman completed 20-of-28 passes for 281 yards and eight touchdowns on Saturday night to lead the Chicago Rush to a 63-55 victory over the Orlando Predators in an Arena Football League game at the Amway Center,
The Rush (6-5) took a one-game lead over San Antonio (4-5), which hosts Utah on Monday night, in the Central Division of the National Conference by winning for the fifth time in six games on the road this season.
Aaron Garcia, who has helped the Predators (2-8) become at least respectable after an 0-5 start, completed 24-of-42 passes for 287 yards and six touchdowns.
However, one of Garcia's passes was intercepted by Josh Pleasant and returned 15 yards for a touchdown to break a 21-21 tie as Chicago took the lead for good by scoring 35 points in the second quarter to open a 42-34 halftime lead.
Reggie Gray of Chicago had six receptions for 132 yards and three touchdowns, and Jared Jenkins caught six passes for 56 yards and three touchdowns.
T. T. Tolliver of Orlando had 10 receptions for 134 yards and two touchdowns, and Prec Rodriguez had six catches for 69 yards and four touchdowns.
Chicago leads the series against Orlando 8-5 but won a regular-season game in Orlando for the first time in seven tries. The Rush also beat the Predators 69-61 in Arena Bowl XX in 2006 in Las Vegas.
