Other top contributors for Sacramento included Isaiah Thomas with 20 points and 11 assists, DeMarcus Cousins with 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Jason Thompson with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Despite the loss, Tyreke Evans put up 17 points off the bench for New Orleans on 6-15 shooting from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line. Brian Roberts chipped in 15 points and 6 assists.
The Kings combined an eFG% of 56.7% with 42.9% 3-point shooting. They are 4-1 this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Pelicans, on the other hand, are winless (0-7) when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
This drops New Orleans (16-25) to 1-1 against Sacramento on the year.
