The younger brother of Florida State star Dalvin Cook, James is in the process of building his own legacy. He certainly has the size and he’s performed well at every event he’s attended. If Cook shows up like he normally does, he’s a near lock to be invited to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge. The five-star running back has been committed to Florida State for some time, but is listening to pitches from other schools. Alabama, USC, Florida and Auburn remain involved.

Samuel is the offspring of the NFL Pro Bowler by the same name. He plays for one of the top high school programs in the country and has been a commodity on the recruiting scene for years. He’s incredible in coverage, and the only knock on his game is his limited size. Samuel is considering a number of schools but seems to favor Florida State for the time being.

Once considered an Alabama lock, Pope is a Miami lean these days. The four-star prospect is one of the more explosive wide receivers in this class and has been recruited since he was in eighth grade. He may make a commitment in the near future and Miami is the odds-on favorite to be the recipient of such a pledge.

The son of the deceased Miami star of the same name, Al Blades has all the physical tools to be a star at the next level. His plight has been reaching his potential. Blades is becoming better in coverage, but may well be better suited to play safety on the next level. His athleticism and size make him versatile, however, and he’s capable of playing multiple spots on the field. Blades holds a long list of offers, but is considered a near lock to attend Miami, the school at which his father became a star.

Troutman hasn’t been to many top-flight camps, so he’ll be expected to prove his lofty ranking over the weekend. A Louisville commit, the safety prospect continues to listen to pitches from other colleges and will likely take visits. Troutman is one of the more physical defensive backs in the country and is known for jamming wide receivers in camp settings.
