Ribeiro, Ovechkin lead the way

Mike Finewax
Michael Finewax lets you know that Troy Brouwer has only 11 power play points despite being on the ice for 32 power play goals

Not many players are on the ice for 80 percent of their team's power play goals, regardless of whether or not they draw a point.

Here is a list of players who have done so this season.

P. A. Parenteau has been on the ice for 14 of the Avalanche's 17 goals.

Pavel Datsyuk has been on the ice for 24 of the Red Wings 29 goals.

Brian Campbell has been on the ice for 23 of the Panther's 26 goals.

Ryan Suter has been on the ice for 20 of the Wild's 25 goals.

Andrei Markov has been on the ice for 31 of the Canadiens' 37 goals.

Shea Weber has been on the ice for 18 of the Predators' 22 goals.

Ilya Kovalchuk has been on the ice for 21 of the Devils' 24 goals.

Mark Streit has been on the ice for 23 of the Islanders' 28 goals.

Claude Giroux has been on the ice for 27 of the Flyers' 33 goals.

Martin St. Louis has been on the ice for 24 of the Lightning's 29 goals.

Dion Phaneuf has been on the ice for 22 of the Maple Leafs 26 goals.

Alex Ovechkin and Mike Ribeiro have been on the ice for 33 of the Capitals 37 goals while Troy Brouwer has been on for 31 of the 37.

It's surprising that only six of the 14 are defensemen. I would have thought a lot more percentage-wise would be.
