Initial fears that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may have suffered a serious leg injury have subsided in light of numerous followup reports that the injury is not that serious.
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora tweeted, "Initial tests indicate Tom Brady's knee sprain not serious. Patriots will continue to monitor it."
The Boston Herald reported that the Patriots "won't know for a couple days" how long Brady will be out of practice, but given we're only one game into the preseason, it doesn't appear the Patriots are overly worried about Brady's injury at this point.
Patriots president Jonathan Kraft said on a local radio station just a couple hours after Brady went down that "I'm under the impression that it's probably not that serious, but that's not a definitive answer."
