Former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laurent Robinson, who suffered four concussions last year, received medical clearance from a concussions clinic, USA Today reported.
Now a free agent, Robinson has worked out for seven NFL teams the past three weeks, according to the report, and now that he has gained clearance, he is likely to sign with one of them soon.
The NFL Players Association sent Robinson to a neurologist in April, and he said at that time that he "definitely wasn't ready to be cleared."
He has no concussion symptoms now, but it remains to be seen whether he will be able to continue his football career if he suffers another concussion.
Last season, Robinson played in seven games, including four starts, and had 24 receptions for 252 yards.
