The Minnesota Vikings are trying to trade volatile wide receiver Percy Harvin, according to WCCO in Minneapolis.
Publicly, Vikings general manager Rick Spielman has been noncommittal about the team's willingness to trade, but Harvin has had two outbursts that have made it difficult for the team to keep him.
In November, Harvin criticized head coach Leslie Frazier in a incident that occurred in front of teammates. Harvin was subsequently placed on injured reserve with an ankle ailment that didn't require surgery.
A few years ago, Harvin had a similar blowup with former coach Brad Childress.
Harvin, 24, had 62 receptions for 677 yards in nine games in 2012. He also ran the ball 22 times for 96 yards.
