Former NBA Shaquille O'Neal is considering playing some games for Fuerza Regia, in the Mexican league, team president Sergio Ganem told ESPN.com.
O'Neal, 40, a 15-time NBA All-Star, would play in October. He received the invitation during an August visit to Monterrey, where he was performing community work.
The team expects an answer by next week. Ganem said that O'Neal's availability will depend upon his schedule as analyst for TNT's Inside the NBA.
