Report: Panthers star Greg Hardy arrested for suspicion of domestic violence

Carolina Panthers star defensive end Greg Hardy has been arrested for suspicion of domestic violence involving his girlfriend in Charlotte, N.C., according to police.

Hardy was charged with a misdemeanor, according to WSOC-TV.

Hardy is the Panthers' franchise player.

He was given a $1.3 million advance on the $13.1 million tender to attend the Panthers' offseason training program.
