Quarterback Vince Young signed a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported Monday.
Young, 30, a former first-round draft pick and a two-time Pro Bowl participant, last played in the NFL in 2011 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was cut by the Buffalo Bills in training camp last August.
The Packers brought Young in for a tryout on Monday. He has played in 60 NFL games, including 50 starts.
Presumably Young will serve as the backup to Aaron Rodgers.
Graham Harrell currently is the Packers' No. 2 quarterback.
