The Indiana Pacers are close to strengthening their frontcourt by acquiring Phoenix Suns power forward Luis Scola.
Scola's agent in Argentina told ESPN the deal already was complete and would be made official sometime Saturday.
Phoenix would get swingman Gerald Green and possibly a first-round pick in exchange for Scola. At 6-foot-9, 245 pounds, Scola would join Roy Hibbert and David West on the Pacers frontline.
Scola averaged 12.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season for the Suns. The 33-year-old has two years and $9 million left on his contract.
