Report: Michael Dyer to attend Arkansas Baptist

Former Auburn and Arkansas State running back Michael Dyer will attend Arkansas Baptist College this year, NBCSports.com reported based on a radio interview with the school's president.

Arkansas Baptist president Dr. Fitzgerald Hill, a former head football coach at San Jose State, said in a radio interview on Sunday that Dyer will attend Arkansas Baptist and "work towards an associate's degree." Dyer will not play football for Arkansas Baptist this season, though.

Dyer will be eligible for the 2013 NFL Draft, so it's unlikely he will play anymore college football anywhere.

Dyer rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of his two seasons at Auburn, but was suspended from the team and transferred to Arkansas State.

Dyer was dismissed from Arkansas State following a traffic stop in which a gun and marijuana were found in the car.
