Report: Koa Misi does not want to be an inside linebacker

Earlier this offseason the Miami Dolphins stated their desire to move Koa Misi to middle linebacker.

Well, according to a report from the Palm Beach Post, that is not something Misi is fond of. The report states that Misi is concerned about the additional responsibility of learning a new position after becoming comfortable at strongside linebacker.

There's always time for Misi to reconsider, though it appears to be a tough sell. Part of the reasoning for the shift is so that Dannell Ellerbe can move to weakside linebacker, which is where he excelled at in Baltimore before coming to Miami.

Misi had 54 tackles and two sacks a season ago.
