Highly touted junior college linebacker Chris Martin, who has already been with two FBS schools but has yet to play in an FBS game, plans to sign with Kansas, according to JayhawkSlant.com.
Martin, one of the nation's top-rated recruits in the class of 2010, originally committed to Notre Dame out of high school, but changed his mind and signed with Cal. During the summer before his freshman season at Cal, Martin left school and eventually transferred to Florida. He did not play at Florida while sitting out, then transferred to City College of San Francisco, which is where he played in 2012.
He is expected to sign this week with Kansas. Jayhawks head coach Charlie Weis recruited Martin while Weis was at Notre Dame.
