Report: Clippers discuss Bledsoe trade with Mavs, Bucks

The Los Angeles Clippers had discussions with both the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks about a possible trade involving Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe, multiple media outlets reported.

The Clippers seem to be shopping Bledsoe more actively now that guard Chris Paul has verbally agreed to a five-year, $107-million extension.

The Clippers are considering sign-and-trade scenarios in which Bledsoe would go to the Bucks for J.J. Redick or to the Mavericks for O.J. Mayo, who is a free agent.

Although ESPN.com reported new Clippers coach and senior vice president of basketball operations Doc Rivers wants to keep Bledsoe for another season, discussions with Milwaukee and Dallas are ongoing.

Bledsoe will be a restricted free agent in the summer of 2014.

Mayo averaged 15.3 points last season while hitting 40.7 percent of his three-pointers. Redick averaged 12.3 points and shot 31.8 percent from long range.

Bledsoe averaged 8.5 points and hit 39.7 percents of his three-pointers.
