Some good news for the Denver Broncos: head coach Gary Kubiak is expected to return to work on Monday.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter, citing a Denver official, reported the news on Saturday.

Kubiak missed the last several days of work, including the Broncos’ Thursday night loss to the San Diego Chargers, to tend to his health. He was brought to the hospital last Sunday after the team’s game against Atlanta with what the team initially called “flu-like symptoms”, but after undergoing tests, he was diagnosed with a complex migraine condition that caused him to feel extreme fatigue and body weakness.

Special teams coach Joe DeCamillis filled in as head coach of the Broncos all week, including for the game against the Chargers.

It was the second time in the last few years Kubiak fell ill during a game; at halftime of a 2013 game, when he was still head coach of the Houston Texans, Kubiak suffered a mini-stroke.
