NFL referee Tony Corrente was fined a game check by the league for yelling an obscenity while his microphone was on during a televised game.
Carl Johnson, the league's vice president of officiating, announced the discipline in a statement Friday.
Corrente's offense occurred during a game between the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins on Nov. 4. Corrente inadvertently left his microphone on while having a discussion with another official and his obscenity was clearly audible to the viewing audience.
