Red Nose Day 2017: Love Actually Is All Around and 12 Other Great Moments
Whenever we get gloomy with the state of the world, we think about Red Nose Day, the annual charity telethon that raises money for children in need.
This year’s broadcast, which aired Thursday on NBC and which was hosted by the ubiquitous Chris Hardwick, once more brought a hodgepodge of celebrities together to do silly things for a good cause.

And, as you might’ve heard, the event also was the impetus behind a short Love Actually sequel featuring the cast — Hugh Grant, Andrew Lincoln, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, etc. — of the 2003 film.
But the night raised more than $33 million and featured a ton of other stars, including the cast of This Is Us, doing silly things for a good cause. (Example A: The all-celeb edition of American Ninja Warrior that aired at 8 pm.) And of course we gathered the event’s best moments in a handy, Love Actually-heavy gallery.
