Rondale Moore's stock is soaring.

On the football recruiting front, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound athlete from Louisville (Ky.) Trinity landed new offers from Alabama, Missouri, South Carolina and Washington State. Those offers follow one from Georgia earlier in the week. His first major offer was from Kentucky but it's clear now that the Cats will have a long fight ahead.

Moore's latest offers follow his Nike Sparq score, which placed him in the top 99th percentile of those tested. In other words, it was confirmation that he has truly elite top-level athleticism.

Don't let it be said that camps and combines are irrelevant. The timing of Moore's new offers can't be explained as a mere coincidence in the light of his recent performance.

Quade Green suffered a concussion in Portland.

Fortunately, according to a report from CatsIllustrated.com's T.J. Walker, it seems like Green will be okay.

As of right now it's not clear whether Green will play in Friday night's game.

Briscoe's decision was expected, but it all but ensures that Green will be a starting guard in Kentucky's backcourt during the 2017-18 season.

Josh Whyle committed to Cincinnati.

It wasn't entirely unexpected, but the Cincinnati (Ohio) LaSalle tight end had been a major target for the Wildcats. Fortunately, Kentucky already has a pledge from four-star Buckeye State tight end Brenden Bates.

In the last edition of the War Room, CatsIllustrated.com reported that sources believed Whyle might have been hesitant when it comes to Kentucky because of the presence of another highly-regarded tight end on the commitment list. Whyle had always mentioned Cincinnati as a favorite.

The Bearcats have a staff of energetic, accomplished recruiters with deep ties to Ohio, and this is one of their biggest moments thus far early in its new era.
