Rasheed Wallace: Joining The Lake Show

RotoWire.com Staff

Update: Wallace is set to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, Comcast Sportsnet New England reports.

Recommendation: Wallace sat out all of last season in presumed retirement, but the Lakers have apparently expressed interest in Wallace's services. The fit does make sense, as the Lakers have gotten underwhelming production from free-agent signings Troy Murphy and Josh McRoberts off the bench. Though he averaged a career-low 9.0 points per game on 40.7 percent shooting in the 2009-2010 season, if in shape, he could provide a much-needed scoring punch in a reserve role.
