Free safety Matt Giordano re-signed with the Raiders after starting nine of the 15 games he appeared in last season. Signed during training camp last year, Giordano went on to lead the team with five interceptions.
He was an extra safety in some packages and started when Michael Huff was sidelined by a hamstring injury. Giordano finished with 70 tackles and his first career sack.
The eight-year-veteran entered the league with the Colts in 2005.
