Quarterbacks Matt Leinart and Terrelle Pryor split the first-team reps in practice Wednesday for the Oakland Raiders, according to reports.
Coach Dennis Allen hasn't named a starter to replace injured Carson Palmer on Sunday for the season finale against San Diego but has said Pryor and Leinart would get equal work this week. Allen also has said he's open to Pryor starting the game despite his limited experience and knowledge of the offense.
Palmer sustained cracked ribs and a bruised lung in last Sunday's 17-6 loss to Carolina.
Other players besides Palmer missing from the early portion of Wednesday's practice were right guard Mike Brisiel (concussion), defensive tackle Richard Seymour (hamstring), strong safety Tyvon Branch (ankle/foot) and cornerback Phillip Adams (groin), the Contra Costa Times reported.
