Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden left Sunday's game and was ruled out for the second half.
McFadden was taken to the locker room for X-rays on his injured leg. The Raiders announced the X-rays were negative, but said McFadden would not return. He will be re-evaluated Monday.
McFadden likely has an ankle sprain and his status for next week's game at Baltimore is unknown. He was replaced by Mike Goodson.
The Raiders led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10-7 at halftime.
Oakland entered Week 9 ranked 30th in the NFL in rushing. McFadden rushed for a season-high 114 yards last week at Kansas City, but is averaging just over 3.0 yards per carry this season. He played only seven games last season because of injuries and has never played more than 13 games in a season since entering the NFL as a first-round pick in 2008.
