Radford comes back to beat Binghamton 69-63

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) -- Javonte Green scored a game-high 17 points and pulled in eight rebounds as Radford surged late in a come-from-behind 69-63 victory over Binghamton.

The Highlanders (3-1) trailed by as much as 14 early in the second half, but crawled back to tie the game at 57 with 6:33 remaining.

Ya Ya Anderson hit a 3-pointer to give Radford the lead and ignite a 10-2 run to lead 67-59 with 44 seconds left.

Jordan Reed made a layup to cut the deficit to six for Binghamton (1-4), but they couldn't pull closer.

Anderson finished with 12 points and Rashun Davis added 10 for Radford.

Reed led the Bearcats with 16 points and nine rebounds, but made just 4 of his 15 field goal attempts and was 8 of 15 from the free-throw line. Nick Madray scored 13 points and Magnus Richards had 12, both shooting 5 of 6 from the field.
