Quarterback Nick Foles was cleared to return to practice Tuesday and split first-team reps with rookie Matt Barkley, but he is expected to start for the Philadelphia Eagles this week.
The second-year backup failed concussion tests last week and was ruled out of the Eagles' Week 8 loss to the Giants the day before the game. Starter Michael Vick, who started against the Giants but left with a hamstring injury, will not play this week when Philadelphia meets the Oakland Raiders.
Foles was knocked out of the game with a concussion in a 17-3 loss against the Dallas Cowboys but needed nine days to gain medical clearance to return.
