The Philadelphia Flyers aren't expecting captain Chris Pronger to return in the near future.
Concussion symptoms have sidelined Pronger since November 2011. And though he reported for the first day of training camp on Sunday, Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said Pronger was scheduled to see his doctor.
When does Holmgren expect Pronger to be able to play again?
"Down the road? I guess you could say slight chance," Holmgren said in an NHL.com report. "But I'd probably classify it as highly unlikely. Nothing's changed."
