How'd He Get to College Park?
Riddle was a monster two-way player, starring at both running back and safety at Linganore. He had an impressive junior season, recording 54 tackles and had four interceptions as well as rushing for 968 yards and 14 touchdowns. His senior season was cut short to injury, but he still managed to run for over 900 yards on the ground in just half the season.
It was uncertain where Riddle would play at Maryland, whether it be at safety or running back, so he used his freshman campaign as a redshirt season. Last year, he was a staple in the special teams and played in 12 games, getting his hands on the ball once for a nine yard return.
Riddler on the Roof
Outshining Stefon Diggs and returning a kickoff nine yards.
Finally getting his chance at running back and performing well enough to stave off fellow backs Reid, Ross and Brown.
Looking at the depth chart where it stands at the moment, Riddle is sitting fourth, making him unlikely to see too much action this season. He will continue to provide the dirty work on the special teams unit, like he did all of last season. Riddle's versatility on both sides of the ball could help him see the field at wherever is needed.
Guess who's back?
