Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick will miss six to eight weeks with a fractured bone in his right hand, multiple media outlets reported Sunday.
The Clippers lost Redick late in the second quarter of Friday night's overtime win over the host Sacramento Kings.
Redick fell hard on the court and banged his wrist on the floor. He said after the game he played five or six possessions after the injury, but that it was too painful to continue. He finished with 13 points in 17 first-half minutes.
Redick is averaging 15.8 points per game this season.

---The Boston Red Sox will tender a contract to right-handed pitcher Andrew Bailey, the New York Post reported.
Bailey threw just 28 2/3 innings in 2013 and may miss a good portion of the 2014 season while recovering from shoulder surgery.
He made $4.1 million this year and is eligible for arbitration this winter.
