Our predictions for the Home Run Derby and MLB All-Star game

Aaron Judge vs. Giancarlo Stanton? American League vs. National League? The Marlins Park home-run statue vs. your eyeballs?

If you’re wondering about some of the biggest matchups in this year’s MLB Home Run Derby and the All-Star game, we are too. The derby is Monday night and is the most anticipated installment in a long time, with the potential Judge/Stanton matchup looming. Tuesday’s All-Star game doesn’t “count” this year. It, thankfully, won’t determine home-field advantage in the World Series but that might making it even more fun.

As we usually do, we’re making predictions on everything from Derby finalists to breakout stars and even the top All-Star Game hashtag. MLB experts Tim Brown and Jeff Passan join The Stew’s Chris Cwik, Mike Oz, Liz Roscher and Mark Townsend in looking into the future the best we can.

To find out how right (or wrong) we are, you’ll have to tune in. You can catch the Home Run Derby on Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, and coverage of the All-Star Game starts on Tuesday at 7:30 ET on Fox.
