Michael Finewax reports that Keith Yandle's ice time on the power play did not go down significantly in his first week with the Rangers

The Phoenix Coyotes are the big surprise this season as their power play is tied for third with the Toronto Maple Leafs in proficiency at 20.8 percent.

They are led by Keith Yandle and Oliver Ekman-Larsson, their fine young blueliners.

The Coyotes are sixth in power play opportunities with 250 but are third overall in goals with 52.

It is a big part as to why the Coyotes are sitting in a playoff spot.
