Peyton Manning: 'It's not embarrassing'

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning took exception when asked if he was embarrassed.

"It's not embarrassing at all. I would never use that word,'' Manning said."The word 'embarrassing' is an insulting word, to tell you the truth."

Manning completed 34 of 49 passes for 280 yards and a touchdown, but was intercepted twice in the 43-8 los to the Seattle Seahawks and had one returned for a touchdown.

His 24.4 quarterback rating was the lowest in a Super Bowl since Rex Grossman's 7.1 in 2006.

"We played a great team," Manning said. "We needed to play really well in order to win, and we didn't come anywhere close to that."F
