Peter Bourjos: Set to Man Center for the Angels

Update: Wednesday's trade of Kendrys Morales likely opens up an everyday spot in center field for Bourjos, the Orange County Register reports.

Recommendation: The Angels' signing of Josh Hamilton had created something of a logjam in the outfield, but with the trade of Morales, a DH spot opens up for either Mark Trumbo or Hamilton, with the other player filling a corner outfield spot. This leaves center field open for Bourjos, who has graded out just as good defensively as Mike Trout at the position. From a fantasy perspective, Bourjos has excellent speed and budding power, and the consistent playing time should allow his batting average to ascend from last year's .220 mark.
