Paul Pierce: Says He's 90% Recovered From MCL Sprain Staff

Update: Pierce said he's about 90 percent recovered from a sprained MCL suffered in the postseason, ESPN Boston reports.

Recommendation: Pierce played through the injury in the playoffs and has spent a large part of the offseason strengthening the knee. Pierce said the knee sprain cost him some explosion, but stair work and light running have alleviated some of the pain. Expect him to be fully healthy for training camp.
