Paul Millsap posted his 24th double-double this season, scoring 28 points and registering 17 rebounds, to help the Atlanta Hawks defeat the Philadelphia 76ers, 103-95. Atlanta (32-41) entered the game on a six losing streak. It's a streak that began with a 111-105 loss to New Orleans on March 21st.
Millsap went 9-15, in what was an efficient performance. Lou Williams also contributed for Atlanta, finishing with 22 points and 5 rebounds. On 7-10 shooting, including 5-6 from behind the arc, Thaddeus Young put up 23 points for Philadelphia in the loss.
Philadelphia (16-58) has now dropped three consecutive games to Atlanta.
Coming up next, the Hawks square off against the Chicago Bulls, who are 42-32 on the year. The 76ers go up against the Charlotte Bobcats, currently 36-38 this season. The Hawks lost their last three meetings with Chicago. The 76ers have a 1-1 record against Charlotte this season.
