Paul George put up 36 points to help the Indiana Pacers beat the Los Angeles Clippers, 106-92. Indiana (32-7) is now on a four-game winning streak.
George went 12-17 from the field (5-6 on 3-pointers) and 7-7 from the free throw line, in a strong performance. Lance Stephenson chipped in 22 points and 12 rebounds for Indiana as well. On 7-18 shooting (2-7 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-6 from the free throw line, Jamal Crawford scored 22 points off the bench for Los Angeles in the loss. DeAndre Jordan added 12 points and 17 rebounds.
In addition to 25.0% from 3-point range, the Clippers tallied an eFG% of just 42.8%. They are winless (0-4) on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Pacers, conversely, are undefeated (11-0) when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
This loss snaps a five-game winning streak for Los Angeles, dropping them to 28-14 on the year.
Coming up, the Pacers play the Golden State Warriors, who are 25-16 on the season. The Clippers match up against the Detroit Pistons, currently sitting at 17-23 this year.
