Paul George scored 23 and the Indiana Pacers defeated the Golden State Warriors, 102-94. Indiana (33-7) has now won five consecutive games.
George went 9-20 from the field, including 3-7 on 3-point attempts. Indiana also got solid performances from David West with 17 points and 5 rebounds, Roy Hibbert with 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Lance Stephenson with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Despite the loss, Stephen Curry scored 24 points for Golden State on 9-20 shooting, including 3-11 from behind the arc. He also recorded 9 assists. David Lee contributed 20 points and 12 rebounds and Andrew Bogut finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
Golden State (26-17) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating New Orleans on Saturday.
Coming up, the Pacers square off with the Phoenix Suns, who are 23-17 on the season. The Warriors match up with the Minnesota Timberwolves, currently sitting at 19-21 this year. The Warriors have a 1-0 record against Minnesota this season.
