Patty Mills came off the bench and scored 32 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a close victory over the Charlotte Bobcats, 104-100. San Antonio (37-14) picked up the win after falling to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.
Mills shot 10-13 from the field (4-5 on 3-pointers) and 8-9 from the free throw line, in a strong performance. Tim Duncan contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds for San Antonio as well. Al Jefferson had another strong performance for Charlotte despite the loss, scoring 26 points on 12-21 shooting. Kemba Walker added 18 points and 8 assists.
Charlotte (22-29) couldn't get consecutive victories after beating Golden State on Tuesday.
Coming up, the Spurs play the Detroit Pistons, who are 21-29 on the season. The Bobcats match up with the Dallas Mavericks, currently sitting at 30-21 this year. The Bobcats are 0-1 versus Dallas this season.
