Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera and his coaching staff are on the hot seat since general manager Marty Hurney was fired last week.
ESPN.com reported Sunday that owner Jerry Richardson had reservations about Hurney's hiring of Rivera in 2011.
After losing four straight and meeting with Richardson, Rivera knows he and his staff are being evaluated week-to-week.
Rivera said last week that he has not ruled out letting go of assistants or players who are underperforming.
Carolina is 7-15 since Rivera took over as coach, including 1-5 this season.
