Green Bay Packers All-Pro linebacker Clay Matthews could miss "a couple of weeks" with a hamstring injury, Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters on Monday.
Matthews limped off the field in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals.
"Early diagnosis is it may be a couple of weeks," McCarthy. "Clay doesn't feel it's as bad as it was in the past."
Matthews has nine sacks, tied for the second most in the NFL this season.
The Packers have a bye this week, and they don't play again until Nov. 18 against Detroit.
On the plus side, wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who has had hamstring problems and suffered a sprained ankle on Sunday, is expected to playin the next game.
"I think he's going to be OK," McCarthy said.
