The Indiana Pacers announced on Monday that they have made a qualifying offer to free agent forward Tyler Hansbrough, and will make a strong bid to re-sign unrestricted free agent David West.
Hansbrough was one of Indiana's biggest contributors last season off the bench, which Larry Bird, new Pacers president of basketball operations, said he hopes to improve.
West played a key role in helping the younger Pacers develop, especially after Danny Granger was lost because of a knee injury, and the team has indicated that re-signing him is their top offseason priority.
