Oregon State (6-3, 4-2 Pac-12) at No. 21 Arizona State (7-2, 5-1), 9:30 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)
Line: Arizona State by 14.
Series record: Arizona State 26-12-1.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
A key game for both teams if they want to win their respective divisions. Arizona State, which has won four straight, leads the Pac-12 South by a game over UCLA and will face the Bruins in Southern California next week. Oregon State, which is 4-0 on the road this season, still has an outside shot at winning the Pac-12 North, trailing Stanford (6-1) and Oregon (5-1).
Arizona State's secondary vs. Oregon State receiver Brandin Cooks. Sun Devils coach Todd Graham called Cooks probably the best overall player his team has faced and they'll need to find a way to slow him down. Cooks leads the nation in receptions (91), yards (1,344), yards per game (149.3) and his 14 touchdowns are second.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Oregon State: QB Sean Mannion. The junior has taken a huge leap this season, becoming not just one of the Pac-12's best quarterbacks, but one of the best in the country. Mannion leads the country with 3,540 yards passing, with 974 of that coming in games against California and Washington State to set an NCAA record for consecutive games. He's also second nationally with 31 passing touchdowns and is on pace to break the school record with a completion percentage of 67.9.
Arizona State: QB Taylor Kelly. The dual-threat junior is 12th nationally in total offense with 329 yards per game and sixth with 24 TD passes. Kelly has accounted for 84 points the past three games and 186 on the season, leaving him 12 short of the school record set by Mike Pagel in 1981.
