Sligo Rovers have confirmed the signing of Kyle Callan-McFadden and Shaun Patton ahead of the 2017 season.
Callan-McFadden, 21, joins the Bit o' Red from Orlando City, where he spent the 2016 season, while 21-year-old goalkeeper Patton arrives at The Showgrounds from Derry City.
The pair are the first new additions to the Sligo squad ahead of the upcoming campaign as Dave Robertson looks to build upon last season's fifth-place finish.
Donegal native Callan-McFadden began his professional career at Norwich City before signing for Orlando City B and has featured for the Republic of Ireland at youth level, captaining the Under-19 team
Patton is also a native of Donegal and, having played the role of understudy to Ger Doherty at Brandywell last season, he will hope to push Micheal Schlingermann for a starting role in 2017.
The double swoop for Callan-McFadden and Patton is Sligo's first foray into the transfer market as they attempt to offset the loss of players such as Achille Campion, Jimmy Keohane and Gavin Peers.
